IKRA-T5.0 – Development of process-adaptable robot platforms in the Industry 5.0 concept (incl. digital twin)

For the development of the field of human-robot cooperation, a development and test laboratory for collaborative robotics and process-adaptive devices will be created based on the Virumaa Innovation Centre of Digitalisation and Green Technologies, Virumaa College, and Taltech's headquarters. In the created laboratory, it will be possible to study the psychological aspects of human-machine co-creation, workplace design, etc. In addition, adaptability of equipment/physical systems to production processes. All this in both real and digital (augmented reality) environments, based on the Industry X.0 concept.

PSG453 - Digital twin for propulsion drive of autonomous electric vehicle

The goal of the project is to develop a prognosis and control platform for propulsion drive energy system performance estimation. It requires the development of test platforms and digital twins. A digital twin is composed of three components — the physical entities in the real world, their virtual models, and the connected data/view that ties the two worlds together.

Milrem Robotics Nutikas UGV

In the frames of Nutikas UGV project applied research on system of sensors and software algorithms for safety and driver assistance on remotely operated ground vehicles for off-road applications will be carried out in partnership with University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology. The project focuses on civil applications such as internal security, rescue and mining.
